Faculty Travel

 

Call for White Papers for Salary Support for Large Proposal Development Submission Deadline: 10/07/2016 (5:00 PM)

 

ORC/Graduate Studies recognizes the level of effort required to develop successful, complex proposals and is announcing the availability of salary support to lead Principal Investigators (PIs) to improve the probability of success.

 

In-House Research Grants (2016-2017) - Submission Deadline: 10/03/2016

 

The purpose of this grant program is to initiate new faculty research activities, which will strengthen faculty credentials and make them more competitive for external funding appropriate to their discipline. All proposals must clearly address this objective. All tenure-track or equivalent UCF Faculty who have been in residence at UCF for fewer than six years (sixth year must not be completed) and have not yet received tenure are eligible to apply.

 

Undergraduate Research Initiative (2016) - Submission Window: 10/15/16 - 10/30/16
 

The Undergraduate Research Initiative (URI) is designed to increase the involvement of undergraduate students in research and encourage them to pursue graduate-level research and study. The intention is to leverage external funding to expand the engagement of undergraduate researchers.

 

UCF Initiative to Fund Major Research Equipment

 

Previously known as the Presidential Initiative to Fund Major Research Equipment, this program is designed for the purchase or upgrade of major equipment to enhance UCF’s research capacity by providing matching cash funding that, when combined with other cash funding, will enable the purchase of major research equipment.

 

Matching Funds for Federal Agencies Program

 

The purpose of this grant program is to initiate new faculty research activities, which will strengthen faculty credentials and make them more competitive for external funding by matching support.

 

University of Central Florida-University of Florida Space-Related Research Initiative (UCF- UF SRI) - (Closed)

 

This internal program supports a joint effort between the University of Central Florida (UCF) and the University of Florida (UF). Proposals will be accepted in the general area of space related research.

 

 

 
Joint Industry Programs
 

Florida High Tech Corridor Council (FHTCC) Industry Matching Research Program - Open Solicitation (New Awards will not be announced until July 2016)

Proposals are sought for partnership projects between University of Central Florida (UCF) faculty and regional high technology industries along the Florida High Tech Corridor.  The primary goal of the Florida High Tech Corridor Council (FHTCC) is to attract, grow, and retain high technology companies in the Florida High Tech Corridor area. The program is specifically designed to expand the research activities of an FHTCC industry partner by providing matching funds to leverage research collaborations between Industry and UCF.

Florida High Tech Corridor Council (FHTCC) Industry Matching Research Program - Phase II SBIR/STTR External Investment Program

This program is specifically designed to expand the research activities of an FHTCC industry partner by providing external investment funds to small companies to leverage research collaborations between Industry and UCF to assist in obtaining a Phase II SBIR/STTR award.
