Targeted Research Alerts (TRAs)

TRAs are weekly funding opportunity alerts matching strategically identified research areas and criteria. Select a TRA from the list below to view recent opportunities, or select “sign up for listserv” to opt-in and receive a weekly email alert with new funding announcements for your selected TRAs. An email will only be sent if new opportunities were identified that week in your selected TRA.

UCF researchers can also view the search criteria for a selected TRA, revise their own copy in Pivot with additional keywords and filters to more closely match their research interests, and save it on their Pivot workbench. For more information on the Pivot funding opportunity database, visit our Pivot webpage.

New TRAs will be developed as additional strategic areas are identified. You can request a new TRA by emailing FundingOpps@ucf.edu with a short description of the research area and possible keywords.

In addition to the TRAs, there are funder-specific saved searches available in the Funder Tool Kits that can be viewed and saved for weekly Pivot email alerts: DoD, DOE, ED, NASA, NEA, NEH, NIH, NIJ, NSF, SAMHSA, USDA.
